Richard's obituary

Richard Paine Hauber, age 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away April 2. Born and raised in the Kansas City area, he worked for the Kansas City Star for over 40 years. He was an active member of Antioch Bible Baptist Church in Gladstone. His constant sense of humor, even to the end, will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of more than 24 years, Bette Jo, sister Saundra (George), son Christopher (Beverly), stepsons Stephen (Robin) and Danny, stepdaughter Kate (Joseph), and four grandchildren. Family, friends, and those who knew him are invited to get together to celebrate his life on Saturday, June 26, 12 noon at Antioch Bible Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the benevolence fund to help those in need at Antioch Bible Baptist Church.
