Richard Anthony Hartman, beloved husband, father, and dedicated law enforcement officer, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, in Clovis, California, at the age of 54.

Born on Christmas Day, 1970, Richard lived a life defined by service, strength, and unwavering commitment. He spent the majority of his professional life in law enforcement, protecting and serving his community with honor, integrity, and quiet courage. Whether standing proudly beside his patrol car or mentoring younger officers, Richard led by example—with humility, grit, and deep compassion.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jamie, and their seven children: Devin, Rabeca, Jamie, Maryn, Alex, Jennifer, and Zachary. His love for his family was boundless, and his presence as a father and husband was a source of strength and guidance.

A memorial service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held at the family’s residence in Clovis on July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Friends, family, and colleagues are warmly invited to attend and honor the life of a man who gave so much to others.

Richard will be remembered for his firm yet kind heart, his deep sense of duty, and his enduring love for his family. His legacy will continue in the lives he touched and the example he set.
