We mournfully announce the passing of Richard White, 82, of Bellwood, IL. Richard passed away on Saturday morning, January 14, 2023, after a hard fought battle with cancer. 

 Richard, born to the parents of Charles Leonard White and Laura Mae White, took his first breath on April 29, 1940. Richard was a force to be reckoned with from the get go, graduating from Sumner High School in Saint Louis, Missouri and then took his life journey to Maywood, IL in 1969 where he worked for Murnane Packaging Company for over 40 years. 

 He met his life partner, Pamela Scott in 1978 and then moved to Bellwood, IL where he lived until his passing. He lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. His nephews and nieces meant more to him than words can describe.

When Richard retired in 2011, he devoted most of his time to being a Deacon at New Kingdom Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Victor Walker. He later became a member of Progressive Life Giving Word Cathedral in 2018 under the leadership of Pastor Donald Alfred.  We will miss him dearly.

Services will be held at Progressive Life Giving  Word Cathedral, located in Hillside, IL on 01/21/2023 at 11am. 

Richard was a down to earth, funny, hard working and humble man whom enjoyed spending time with his family. Anytime he stepped out he looked like he stepped out of a magazine. He loved
