Richard's obituary

On Wednesday January 18th, 2023 Richard Andrew Fyvie of Bobcaygeon Ontario at the age of 63 a loving husband, father of four children, grandfather (poppa) of ten at Peterborough Regional Health Centre passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Rick will be missed deeply by all those who knew him, his laugh, sense of humour and his heart will never be forgotten. Rick was a hard worker and dedicated his life to his union Teamsters local 938 and it’s members as well as purolator as a courier. Rick was loyal, funny, and generous beyond measure with his love and his time. Ricks children and their friends knew his house was a safe place and they were always welcomed with open arms and included in the family. Ricks wife Bev was the love of his life and his loyalty and devotion to her could never be matched, when people speak of soulmates they were definitely referring to Rick and Bev. His children, grandchildren and his family were his heart and they will all miss his laugh, hugs and dad jokes immensely. Rick is survived by his wife Bev fyvie, his children Amanda Fyvie, Christina Fyvie, Dagmar Morgan-Sinclair (Terrol), Robert Morgan (Sue) his grand children Damien, Shyanne, Serena, Bentley, London, Ricky, Robert, Reegan, and Ryder, his sister Annette Fyvie and his niece Sarah Veltkamp.  Rick was predeceased by his grandson Landon, his mother Edith Fyvie and his father Andrew Fyvie. He will be fondly remembered by the Peterkin/Barrans family as well as the Martin family, both have become extended parts of the Fyvie family and loved Rick tremendously. Celebration of life will be announced shortly.
