Richard Vestel Folsom, 63, joined his mother Mary Ellen and father Howard Dennis Folsom in eternal rest on August 1st, 2023 in Ashland, OR. Richard was born on the 7th of May, 1960, in Brentwood, CA where he was a longtime resident before moving to Oregon. Known as Rick to his friends, he enjoyed spending his days chatting and joking with friends, family, and had a tremendous sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his friends and beloved family.

He is survived by his daughters Tara Folsom of Bend, OR and Ashley Folsom-Feldt of and granddaughter Jade of Alamogordo, NM, brother and sister Dennis Folsom and Eileen Harrington, and niece and nephew Patty and Spencer.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home.
