Dick passed away peacefully and comfortably at home on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. The day before, surrounded by visiting family, he shared that "he’s had a good life." He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jan, and their sons, Rick, Scott, and Troy, along with their spouses. He is also survived by his brother, Jim, and his spouse. Dick will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren & bonus grandchildren and their spouses, as well as their children (his great-grandchildren): Kaleena, Chelsea, Jake, Cody, Luke, Logan and Clint, Luke, Paul, Jason, Grant, Greg, and Gerrid.

Dick's ashes will be scattered by his family in a private remembrance at his family’s cabin where he enjoyed hunting and playing cards. In lieu of flowers or gifts, if you would like to honor Dick's memory, spend some time in nature, be good to one another, and/or consider a donation to Lion's Club or your local firefighters as Dick spent many years volunteering for these organizations. 

He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Thank you for holding his family in your hearts during this time.
