Dick was our dear friend, usher in our wedding and couch surfer with us. We had many good times and laughs together.

Dick's love of basketball, his children and his closeness to the church were his strengths. He was dealt a difficult hand in life, but kept his smile and big heart

Heartfelt condolences to all the family.  I will always remember how much grandma Ryan would light up with a visit from Dick. And Sister Daniel laughing her sweet laugh when Dick was there.  Rest in Peace Dick.

He taught Wayne Saunders who has severe CP. After Wayne graduated from HS, Dick would visit him in the nursing home and Wayne who was non verbal would just laugh. Dick would give him Pepsi. Which we continue there and it is his favorite drink.

When I visit and talk about dick he just lights upEven after Dick left Wolf Point  when he came back he would visit Wayne

Dick was the youngest person to play Varsity Basketball in ND..... He got special permission to play as an 8th grader.  He spent many years playing and coaching.  He was able to coach his younger brother Shaughn Ryan in college. Many of his friends will associate Dick with Basketball 🏀
