Richard "Rick" Michael DesMarais, born on July 24, 1962, passed away on March 3, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry F. DesMarais and Lilia DesMarais. He is survived by his children, Ricky DesMarais of Russellville, Alexis "Nikki" DesMarais of Oklahoma, and Megan DesMarais of Russellville; his stepson, Marshall Cox of Russellville; and his sister, Tina Dean of Russellville. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews—Jennifer Johnson of Hagarville, Justin Deal of Russellville, Athina Reid of Dover, and Dillon Dean of Russellville—along with six grandchildren and many dear friends who became family over the years.

Rick had a deep love for rock 'n' roll and enjoyed playing the guitar. His passion for music extended to trivia, where he could recall details with ease. He also had a fondness for motorcycles, embracing the freedom they represented.
