I am so sad to learn of Rick's passing. He and I were friends from elementary school (Bostonia Elementary, in El Cajon). I remember when we were teens that I always looked to him for guidance on which bands were the best, and an epic argument over whether Peter Frampton or Eric Clapton was the better guitarist. Rick was right: Clapton is the better guitarist.
