Richard Desgrosiellier, 76, of Seminole, FL, passed away on October 03, 2022, after a brief illness.

Richard was born on May 14, 1946, to Adolph (Rudy) & Mary Rose (Pugh) Desgrosiellier in Utica, New York.  After graduating from Utica Free Academy, he went on to serve his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  Richard retired after 35 years working for the State of New York, most of those years at Central NY Psychiatric Center.    He enjoyed being active and social, he spent his time playing softball, bowling, golfing, and walking his Lucky dog.  Richard was predeceased by his parents as well as his brothers Gary and Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cathy, and son Richard and his wife Angela and their children Brian and Emily; son Scott and his wife Kathy and their children Kayla and Jake; and daughter Lori and her husband Michael Raymond and their daughter Cydney.  He was also survived by brothers Robert  & Eugene and sister Kathy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Richard is scheduled for Friday, October 14, 2022, at 2:15 pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are sent to Suncoast Hospice, which provided excellent care for Richard in his final days.
