A Life Well-Lived
Born on April 22, 1960, to Victor and Virginia Deloy, Richard grew up in Troy, Michigan, alongside his siblings Barb, Kathy, and Victor. He attended Kimball High School, where he played baseball and developed a lifelong love for sports. A true adventurer, he dabbled in many careers before attending college in his 30s to become a water specialist. He was married in 1989 to Patricia Musico, and they had 2 daughters together whom Richard was crazy about.
Richard was a man of many passions. He found joy in fishing, hunting, and cheering on his favorite hockey, baseball, and football teams. He was a classic rock fanatic, never missing an opportunity to reminisce about the legendary concerts he attended. He also had a deep love for travel, always seeking new places to explore, which ultimately led him back to the Philippines, where he spent his most recent years. Above all, he was a devoted father and grandfather, with an unmatched sense of humor, a loud and boisterous personality, and a deep, unconditional love for his family.
Richard was the most supportive dad, the best grandpa, and an unforgettable friend to so many. His laughter, his unfiltered humor, and his fierce love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
