Richard (Ricky) D. Taylor Obituary

Richard D. Taylor, age 72, of Glendale Heights, IL whose spirit departed from us on November 12, 2024. He was a man with a kind heart who delighted in the company of others and had a genuine passion for storytelling. An avid NASCAR fan, Richard especially admired Dale Earnhardt.

For over 25 years, he loved exploring the waters of Lake Michigan with his boat and first mate, and he found great joy in road trips that allowed him to experience the beauty of the open road. Richard's remarkable skill as a truck driver spanned 45 years, and he had the unique ability to park a semi just about anywhere.

Rick was a faithful husband to Phyllis (Willey) for 46 wonderful years. He is survived by his brother Walter (Martha) and leaves behind a legacy of love as a beloved uncle, brother-in-law,  a fixture in his tight knit neighborhood and a devoted friend to many.
