Richard's obituary

On December 29th 2020 at the age of 61, Richard L.“Tony” Coogle was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Richard was born June 14th, 1959 in Houston, Texas, to James “Ollie” Coogle and Mary F “Mickie” Coogle. Richard grew up in Denver Harbor with his siblings Cheryl Ann, Pete, and Kay. Richard enjoyed playing little league baseball and was an avid Boy Scout earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Richard graduated from Houston Technical Institute in 1977 where he was active in ROTC and Drill Team. He served one tour as a U.S. Marine. He spent his career in the sheet metal industry, the majority of which was at Walsh and Albert Inc. as a superintendent. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, James A. Coogle, and Samuel E. Coogle. He is survived by his wife Myong Coogle, his children Richard, Bona and Nayoung. He also leaves behind three siblings, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. He was an incredibly loving husband and a father who was always thinking of his family. Everyone that knew him enjoyed his great stories and sense of humor.
