Richard's obituary

Richard Lynn Brown was born on June 22, 1955 in Cape Girardeau, MO. On December 6, 2018, at the young age of 63, he passed over, with his loved ones by his side.

Rick retired 7 years ago; it was then that he was able to spend more time hunting and fishing which were some of the things he enjoyed most in life. He and his life-long friend George went on countless trips, many of which include humorous stories of someone getting lost, something needing to be fixed or something almost always broke down.

Rick also loved concerts and music; his stereo was always on, even when he took naps and slept at night. He made many friends throughout his life and tried to go to concerts with them or meet up with them whenever he was able. His wit and jokester personality brought smiles and laughter to everyone who knew him.

Above all else, Rick treasured his daughters Nikki and Kristin and his grandson Logan. He loved taking them for summer trips to Elephant Rocks and Johnson Shut-Ins. He was a wonderful, devoted father and grandfather who worked tirelessly throughout his years to provide for them. His love and dedication knew no bounds.

Rick will forever be cherished and remembered by his daughters, Nikki and Kristin and his one and only grandson, Logan. He is survived by MANY friends, including but not limited to George Kroenug, Del Payne and Terry Schimweg . In our hearts, we know that he is now resting peacefully in heaven beside his beloved mother Francis Kirkham.
