Background

My family has been part of the Harmony Hill family since 2006 when my sister, Tawnya Gossard, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. My mom found Harmony Hill through friends; booked a retreat for her and Tawnya which opened their minds to healing plus put them with others who were going through the same journey of wellness/recovery. The way the staff/program genuinely cares and uplifts those who need it the most regardless of money, background or appearance was refreshing and healing.

Since 2006 my family donates money, gives time to work in the many flower gardens and grounds around the retreat. When my husband was going through cancer treatment, they checked in to make sure we were doing okay. My mom donates money monthly under my husband’s name as a cancer survivor. When my grandma started her “end of life journey” they were there for us. Most recently, when my grandma passed, we bought a brick for 300.00 in her memory to be set on the retreat grounds. Now with Dad/Rich passing we will be laying another stone in his name next to his Mom. All the donated money and money for the bricks goes back into Harmony Hills to help others with cancer/terminal illnesses.

Harmony Hills is a little slice of heaven that over looks Hood’s Canal. What better place to find solace in our biggest time of need; when we are lost Harmony Hills is a place of finding yourself, finding new meaning in life creating new partnership and planning next steps.
