Gary and I loved hanging out and sailing with Rich over the years. Gary just purchased a sailboat Carita with Rich in July and we had only been able to take it out a handful of times. We miss Rich so much. He was a great friend to us and will be sorely missed by so many. We are grateful that Matt and his family will continue the partnership for many years of sailing. We know Rich was happy starting to teach his grandsons about his sailing passion.

Richard was a wonderful friend to my dear friend Carol, and a cherished part of our group for the past several years. He was someone who always greeted at the world with a smile, exuding warmth and positivity his easy-going nature and adventurous spirit made every event or Addy more enjoyable. He was always game for anything.

Though I didn’t know him deeply, his presence was a constant source of light and joy. He will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of spending time with him.
