Richard's obituary

We mournfully announce the passing of Richard Barta, a gracious and selfless soul, born on August 18, 1951, who left our world on August 26, 2025. Known for his infectious laughter and loving nature, Richard imparted a legacy of unconditional love, grace, and forgiveness that will forever remain imprinted on our hearts.

Richard, fondly remembered for his favorite Taco Villa tacos and his peculiar preference for 'sugar with a little tea', had simple yet distinct tastes. He loved driving his beloved Miata top down in the warm sunshine and always looked forward to his lunch meetings with Rich - their friendship had a special place in his heart.

Richard is survived by his loving children, his daughter Tracy Mitchell and his son Ryan Barta, who will eternally hold their father's memory close. He is remembered by his siblings Randy Barta, Mike Barta, Sharon Seeman, Chris Vadala, Larry Vadala, Rick Vadala, Jeanne Vadala - Martin, Tom Vadala, Rob Vadala, and June Vadala, all of whom shared a profound bond of brotherly and sisterly love with Richard.

While his parents, Randolph Barta and Georgia Jean Kladiva - Barta, and Dorothy Vadala-Barta, predeceased Richard, their teachings and values continue to live on through him and his love for his family. As we pay our respects and commemorate the life of Richard, we recollect not just a man, but a beacon of love and grace that continues to shine even beyond his time with us.
