Richard J "Dickie" Atwell JR. 56, of 17509 Harbaugh Valley Road, Sabillasville, MD 21780 passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2021.  With his Girlfriend of the last 14 years holding his hand , in the ICU of Altoona hospital.  Richard grew up in Rockville/ Gaithersburg a town they loved. ft. He worked at Kinsley Construction, as a dump truck as well as several other local companies, he drove over a million miles with no DOT accidents. Active member of the fire service. A Life long member of Germantown, also Boonsboro,  Laytonsville, PG County. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and exploring state parks with dogs in tow. Richard  will be dearly missed and always remembered. Richard  was predeceased by His Father Richard James Sr. and mother Mary Jane Atwell. He is survived by His older sister Debbie Atwell Malone, and younger brother Fred Atwell .  and Karl Brown Brenda's adult son. A celebration of life is being planned for Oct 09, 2021. Being held at the Damascus Activities center and pavilion.  Time will be forth coming
