Richard Andrew Jones, 91, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. He was born on December 7, 1933, to Andrew Elgin Jones and Anna Elizabeth Schwindl.

Richard served in the United States Army from January 1955 to January 1959 during the Korean War era, achieving the rank of Specialist 3. Following his military service, he worked as a Tool & Die Maker.

He had a deep interest in automobiles and often expressed a wish to own a different car for every day of the week. Known for his no-nonsense attitude and spirited character, Richard left a lasting impression on those around him.

Richard was devoted to his wife of 61 years, Patricia Ann (Brady), whom he lovingly cared for over three decades following her stroke. His dedication and strength were evident throughout their life together.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, James and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Bradley (Amanda), Shawn, JR, and Stephanie; great-grandchild, Savannah; and nephews, Tommy, Chris, and Tony. He was preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl; brother Dave (Judy); sister Judy (Daniel); cousin Barbara; and his parents.
