Richard “Slick Rick” A. Loch

Passed to Eternal Life Tuesday, April 8, 2025, age 63 years. Beloved husband of Darlene (Adams). Dear father of Jessica and Jason. Son of the late Irene and Orrin Loch. Brother of Robert (Diane) Loch. Brother-in-law of Daniel Adams, David (Kathy) Adams, and Mary Adams. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Rick was the life of the party—always playing tunes on the jukebox, cracking jokes, working on cars, and enjoying a cocktail with friends. He had a way of lighting up every room he walked into.

Rick deeply loved his family—his wife Darlene, his children Jessica and Jason, and his brother Bob. He had what felt like a hundred best friends, and if you knew him, chances are you’ve got a funny story to tell. He was the ultimate prankster, always making people laugh, and always showing he cared.

He was a proud and active member of the Shrine and a beloved DJ at car shows, where his energy and passion brought people together. His presence touched so many, and the absence of that presence will be felt for the rest of our lives.

But through the stories, the memories, the laughter, and the love, Rick—“Slick Rick”—will never be forgotten.

Here’s to one more quick one. You’re a true legend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Scimitar Foundation, Tripoli Transportation Fund or Shriners Hospital for Children appreciated.
