He was the beloved son of Vittorio Cannaviello and Betty Cannaviello, whose guidance and values shaped the brilliant man he became. A devoted husband to Dianne O Cannaviello, Riccardo shared a life grounded in love, partnership, and shared vision.

A faithful member of City Of Refuge Church of God and Christ, Riccardo’s life was rooted in his faith. He was a brilliant and highly creative thinker, a lover of music, and a man whose intellect was matched by his imagination.

Riccardo earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stanford University — credentials that marked the beginning of an extraordinary professional journey.

As Managing Director of Symmetry Advisors for over 17 years, he founded and led a successful firm specializing in business development, strategic advisory services, and technology commercialization for early-stage R&D companies. He secured alliances with major international corporations including Shimadzu, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, Qualcomm, Medtronic, BASF, Intuitive Surgical, ABB, Teledyne, and Waters Corporation, helping innovative technologies reach global markets.

He also served as Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development for Dianne O. Studio | Luxury Fashion and Cosmetics for nearly 26 years, where his strategic insight contributed to significant growth and long-term success. Throughout his career, Riccardo was known for his vision, integrity, and ability to see opportunity where others saw limits.

Riccardo will be remembered not only for his extraordinary professional accomplishments, but for his warmth, intelligence, creativity, faith, and deep love for his family.
