I worked with Riccarda for almost 20 years at the old Powell Goldstein law firm - as a matter of fact, I met her on our first day as permanent associates back in 1985. We worked side-by-side, shared the highs and lows of the practice of law, had countless lunches with our Terraces gang, shared family stories and rejoiced and commiserated about having and raising children. Riccarda was a brilliant lawyer, cool and calm even under the most extreme pressure, a great friend and, above all, one of the most wonderful human beings I’ve encountered in my journey on this earth. I was heartbroken when I heard about her passing, and I am at a loss for words to express my deep sadness. The world lost one of its best - sic transit gloria mundi!
