Rhonda's obituary

Rhonda Charlene Williams was born April 28, 1961 in Nuremberg, Germany. She grew up in Valley Station, Kentucky were she met her best friend Angie Ellis in 1976. As a child she was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. She would spend her entire life fighting this illness, but she always found ways to not let it get her down. The disease robbed her of her sight in the mid 80's, but not before she learned to drive and owned a Camaro. In the late 80's some of her sight was restored. Even though she was still legally blind, she still did all the things she wanted to do. She had a great love for music. She loved all kinds of music and attended dozens of concerts. Her collection of concert t-shirts is a testament to that. When looking for photos of Rhonda, in every single one of them she was wearing a concert t-shirt. She passed on her love of music to her nieces and nephews. Many nieces and nephew will attest that staying the night with Aunt Rhonda was a rockin' affair. She had hundreds of CD's and an amazing stereo sound system. She also had a gaming system. "Wave Runner", "GTA", "Comfort of the South", and 12 inch TV coupled with loud music and mosh pit dancing is was most of her nieces and nephew will remember about staying with their Aunt Rocking Rhonda. When a song came on the radio while riding in the work van she would belt out the lyrics and say the name of the song and who was singing it. This lead to a very funny conversation between her and her mom, Charlene. Charlene was driving and Rhonda was in the front seat, a song came on the radio "I Only Wanna Be With You". Charlene says "Hey I know who sings this! Its "Hootie and the Blowflies!" The whole van, which had her work crew and several of Charlene's Grandchildren who were also Rhonda's nieces and nephews burst out laughing hysterically. Rhonda, after laughing, very calmly says "No mom, that's "Hootie and the Blow- FISH." She will be remembered that she was a fan of Pop Culture and shared her love of it with her nieces and nephews. She was kind, generous, and very genuine. If she liked something it was "Too totally cool!" or "Too school for cool!" She loved animals and always had more than one at a time. At one time she even owned a skunk. Over the years she had too many to name them all but some were Sadie, Zephyr, Dexter, Roadie the Road Dog(which was a Guinea Pig not a dog), and Pheobe. More importantly than anything else, she overcame so many struggles in her life. She was loved and will be missed dearly. She passed away on May 23, 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida. When she passed and entered in to the Kingdom of Heaven she was met by those that preceded her in death: her parents, Willie and Charlene Williams, one brother Danny Williams, and a great-niece, Aubery Williams.
At the time of her death she was survived by: her three brothers, John "Kenny" Williams, Jr and his wife Janet, Jerry Williams, and Jamey Williams, eight nieces and two nephews, Amanda, Kimberlee, John "Trey" Williams, III, Heather and her husband Michael, Jera and her husband Joey, Gaberiel, Keri Ann, Daytona and her husband Jason, Amber, and Autumn, four great-nieces and four great-nephews, Heaven, Trinity, Destiny, Lucas, Jordan, Ryland, Aurora, and Connor, one aunt, Joyce Randolph, two foster uncles Stevie and his wife Sandi, and Randall, her best friend since 1976, Angie Ellis and scores of cousins.
