Farm girl turned suburban card shark, Rhonda Tadlock peacefully relinquished her seat at her regular Bridge game on Jan. 27. She was born on April 13, 1937, in Carthage, Mo., to Juan and Ruth Potter, flanked in age by her two surviving brothers, Ronald and Larry. She married the love of her life, Jack Tadlock, and they moved to Texas in 1973, where nearly every night for the 38 years of their marriage, they brewed a big pot of coffee, put lawn chairs on the driveway and visited with neighbors.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly, Angela, and Sarah and their husbands Bob, Geno, and Barry; her grandchildren Chris, Patrick, Kevin, Brianna, and Finn; and her great grandsons, Luke and Robert.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Tues., Jan. 30 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery.
