I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Rhonda. She will be greatly missed and deeply loved forever.

I feel her absence deeply in my chest, a horrible aching. A quiet ache that never leaves.

Rhonda Bishop was not only my big sister but she was like a mom to me. Rhonda made me feel safe and loved. She referred to me as her baby.

Every payday Rhonda would buy me a Little Golden Book, sit on the side of my bed, and read it to me no matter how tired she was. Being dependable and always doing what she said she would shaped part of who I am as a person. I often fell asleep before she finished reading.

When Jim began dating Rhonda I really didn’t want to share her. Rhonda convinced me that we could all watch Batman before they went out, after that I was sold.

Growing older I continued to spend every weekend with Jim and Rhonda. I traveled with them and babysat. I know I am very fortunate to have been loved by Rhonda. She single handedly made my life better everyday.

I don’t know how I can I ever say goodbye and her love in my life will live on forever.

I was saddened to learn of Rhonda’s passing. She was a wonderful, unique woman.

...grandma, mom, aunt, sister-in-law and sister to members of the Bishop family as well.

The Lackey, Bishop and Crook families are so connected and intertwined that I cannot remember a time when you (one and all) were not an important part of my life.  That connection will always endure.

Rhonda and I had not spoken in some time, but I love her dearly. As I love all of you. She and you (Lackeys and Crooks) are family.  I love you all, and that too will always endure.

You are in my thoughts.

Love,

JSB
