Rhonda's obituary

We are saddened to announce that Rhonda Hardin, age 50, of Marionville, MO passed away in the early morning of June 26th.

She was born on February 16, 1971 in Van Buren, Arkansas to parents Ronald Hardin and Jeanie Phillips. During her childhood years, she moved with her family to Atwater, California. Here she met and fell in love with David Curry Sr and together they created a family. They had one son, David Curry JR. Rhonda loved David so much and was never more happy then when she became a grandmother. Or as her grandchildren Henry and Audrey liked to call her, “Bama''.

Her passions included knitting and listening to music. David enjoys many happy memories spent in his youth rocking out to Madonna and voguing with her in the mirror. Rhonda also enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends and family across the country in places including: North Carolina, Arkansas, Missouri, California, Nevada, and Oklahoma.

In fact, the week preceding her death was spent visiting family in Oklahoma. She had a wonderful time and we were told many of her conversations centered around her faith and her love for her son and her grandchildren.

Rhonda was predeceased by her parents, Ronald Hardin and Jeanie Phillips. She is survived by her brothers: John, Ronald, and Michael, and her sisters: Krista and Leigh Ann. Also by her son David, and two grandchildren Henry and Audrey.

A celebration of life will be held at David’s Residence: 180 Blasingame Terrace, Atwater CA. 4pm July 24th. The family is hosting a potluck dinner and humbly requests that guests bring a dish to share.

Rest in Paradise, Rhonda. We will miss you.
