Rhoda Heisler, 80, of Island Lake, IL, passed away on May 7th, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Rhoda was born on October 27, 1941. After graduating from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1958 in Saginaw, MI she went on to become a teacher where she met Phillip Heisler.  They wed in 1964, going on to have 4 children, Christine, Catherine, Jason, and Andrew. Rhoda was very involved with her family and community and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed fishing, camping, outdoor concerts, the renaissance fair, and any performances she could find!  We will miss her greatly.

Rhoda was predeceased by her husband Phillip. She is survived by her children; Christine, Catherine, Jason (April), Andrew (Barb) and her grandchildren; Elizabeth, Chase, Jacob, Hailey, Hannah, Aiden, and Rylan. 

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday August 13th from 12pm-3pm with a preceding internment beginning at 11:30am at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods.
