Rhiannon's obituary
With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of our beloved Ms. Rhiannon Gossett, who left us too soon on May 31, 2024. Born on September 12, 1988, Rhiannon, also affectionately known as Doodle Bug, Doodle, or DD, walked her own path in life, touching the hearts and lives of many with her fun-loving, witty, and fiercely independent spirit.
Rhiannon is survived by her mother Leane Robinette, father Jay Gossett and Colleen Gossett, sister Savannah Robinette, daughter Nevaeh Gossett, grandparents Dewey Jr and Shirleen Robinette. Each of them holds cherished memories of her vibrant spirit and brilliant mind.
As a testament to her love for art, Rhiannon's artistic skills in drawing and painting made the ordinary seem extraordinary. Her love for literature accompanied her throughout her life, especially the poem “Where the Sidewalk Ends” which held a special place in her heart. She loved all genres of music, which often served as the background score to her artwork. In leisure, she preferred the calming activities of Yoga and walking.
Rhiannon’s quick wit and love for independent thinking carved a unique path for her in this world, making her a beacon of authenticity.
We invite all who loved Rhiannon to join us in celebrating her life. A memorial service will be held on August 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Unicoi Church of God. Later in the afternoon a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM at Meredith Valley Farm and Cabins. We ask that in memory of Rhiannon, you embrace her spirit of authenticity and individuality in all aspects of life.
May her soul find eternal peace, and may her love and vibrancy continue to live on through those she has left behind.
