Rheadawn's obituary
Rheadawn Day/Lipsey, 68 of Henderson, NV, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 6, 2025.
Rheadawn was born on November 1, 1957, to Jack and Earlene Day in Moab, Utah. After graduating from Lynwood High School in California in 1976, she continued her education at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Her first job was at Wienerschnitzel, where she began building the strong work ethic that characterized her life. Then went on to real estate and retired as a corporate business insurance agent.
In 1977, she met Tony Dominguez, and the two were married in 1979. Together, they welcomed two children, Jarris and Canislyn Dominguez. When Rheadawn became a mother, she joyfully dedicated her life to raising her children with love, devotion, and unwavering support. She was deeply involved in every aspect of their lives—cheering them on at sporting events, attending school functions, and encouraging them through every passion and challenge.
We honor the memory of a truly kind and soft-hearted woman, whose presence made the world gentler for everyone around her. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, supported, and cared for. To many, she was more than a relative or a friend—she was a mother figure in every sense of the word. Her home, her heart, and her arms were always open.
She was a wonderfully kind and soft-hearted person, but anyone who knew her also knew that her warmth came with a spark of humor that could brighten even the toughest days. She had a natural gift for making people laugh—sometimes with a quick remark, sometimes with a playful story, and often just by being her genuine, hilarious self.
Her kindness made people feel safe and loved, and her humor made them feel lighter. She could walk into a room and shift the entire mood with a single joke or a perfectly timed smile. Whether she was comforting someone or teasing them lovingly, she had a way of bringing joy that felt effortless.
She wasn’t just caring; she was the heart of every gathering, the one who could turn everyday moments into memories worth holding onto. Her laughter was contagious, her presence uplifting, and she leaves behind not only love, but a trail of laughter that will be remembered just as fondly as her compassion. She will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased in death by Jim and Earlene Lipsey. Rheadawn is survived by her children, Jarris Dominguez and Canislyn Dominguez; her father, Jack Day; and her brothers, Wayne Day and Mike Day.
The family kindly requests that cards and flowers be sent to The Well Church.
