My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Rhanda again.

Katie, I can't imagine the grief you are feeling. Dale and I loved Rhanda. We are devastated at her loss. There are no words that can truly express our sincere  sympathy to you & your little family and Nan. The only thing I can say is that we all can draw comfort in the time you had with her. Love & peace, Babs & Dale
Rhanda was an inspiration to all. She radiated joy and happiness and kindness. She was instantly likable upon meeting, and lovable upon getting to know.  She will be missed by all.

I’m so sorry to you and your family for this great loss.  I will be praying that all of you find peace, and that the memories you’ve been blessed with provide comfort at this difficult time.

I’m blessed to have known and shared conversations and laughs with sweet Rhanda.   God Bless, Kathy(Tarrance)

It was with stunned disbelief that I received news the morning of Rhanda’s demise. I was in my car at the time & I had to immediately pull off the road. I don’t know how long I set there practically unable to breathe, trying to convince myself this couldn’t be true? She was almost bigger than life itself & what would our world be like without her now? She was bright, beautiful, bold, the total package!!!
We were 1st cousins; I was born in Atlanta August of 1949 & she came along the month after. Because of our close beginnings we always shared a very close personal bond, a keen awareness of the world around us & a zany (if not somewhat warped) sense of humor. No matter how many miles separated us geographically or how much time passed between visits we’ve always been able to pick right where we left off before & run with it. What a wonderful blessing that has been during the ensuing years,
Rhanda would have been one of the last of us to leave this earth by my reckoning, NOT the 1st. As the days have passed & compromise has become reality, the unthinkable has slowly become a tad more understandable. I think anyone who knew her would agree she would always charge right in & get things done, her compassion made her a master caring for others. So it’s really no surprise she has gone on ahead as I think she figured she’d better get heaven prepared for the rest of us!!! If she is there to meet me at the gate when my time comes...I’ll know I made it to the right place & once again we pick right up where we last left off!!!!
We at the Dawson County Humane Society Resale Shop and Boutique are all heartbroken at the loss of Rhanda.  Rhanda was one of our managers who worked the Friday afternoon shift but she did so much more.  She was in the shop often helping wherever needed.  As an artist, Rhanda assumed the responsibility of researching,  pricing and hanging our donated artwork.  She was an absolute pleasure to be around. Rhanda’s positive energy and quick wit drew people to her.  She took her responsibilities as a volunteer seriously and gave so willingly of her time. We miss our friend and colleague so, so much.  Her picture will have a permanent spot in our shop and our hearts.
