Rene's obituary
>Reynaldo "Rene" Del Rosario, a beloved grandfather, father, husband, and friend, passed away on January 28, 2026 at the age of 83 in our family residence surrounded by loved ones.
> "Tatay" Rene was born in Angat, Bulacan, Philippines. He spent his life working around the world in starting in Saudi Arabia and then immigrated to United States in 1997. He lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and humor, specially after a couple glassed of his good friends Johnie Walker and Juan Carlos. He was known for his contagious laughter and generosity. At every Filipino party he can be seen surrounded by friends (not just Johnie and Juan), telling stories, and making everyone feel welcomed. He retired in 2011 and moved to Texas with his loving wife, Violeta, to live with his daughter, Maribel, and her family (Michael, Miguel, and Mikaela/Kyla). There he lived the comfy retiree life of spoiling his grandkids. If it wasn't a trip to TGIF, he would be taking Miguel and Kyla to Walmart to buy them anything they wanted (under $20) and help hide it from their parents hahaha.
> After over 20 years of living in the states, Rene and Violeta moved back to the Philippines in the Del Rosario family home to peacefully retire. If you don't see Rene by the road chatting with neighbors, he was probably at the Rooster farm preparing for his next Rooster fight.
> Rene’s life was one of sacrifice, joy, and deep love for his family and community. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, generosity, and laughter that will continue to guide and comfort those who loved him. Though he is no longer with us, his stories, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
