Rev Sherra Cantrell Brigman
Reverend Sherra Cantrell Jarrells Brigman, age 73 passed away peacefully in her sleep from complications of Parkinson’s in her home in Rock Hill South Carolina on Sunday July 9, 2023.
Sherra Ann Cantrell was born July 24, 1949, in Tennessee to her mother Delphia Lafern Yaden Cantrell and to her father Obery Leon Cantrell. Her parents divorced and she was raised with her sister, Ratu Muda Princess Karen Cantrell by her mother. She excelled in all the things she did in her life. Sherra was an accomplished flutist, equestrian eventer, model, and traveled throughout the world extensively.
She graduated from Spartanburg High School in Spartanburg South Carolina, then graduated Spartanburg Junior College with a BA degree in business and continued her education to become Reverend Sherra Cantrell Jarrells Brigman. Sherra studied under Wesley Synod with H.E. Rt Rev. Dr. H.G. Cowles and the Most Reverend Dr. F. D. Burckle Canterbury England.

She held several key managerial positions with New York Life Insurance Company and in also in the Television Industry.
She was awarded The Presidential Call to Service Lifetime Achievement by The White House for her humanitarian acts and was a Dame in The Hospitaler Order of St Lazarus Jerusalem - Malta. She loved being a Kentucky Colonel and donated to the charities they supported for numerous years. One of her greatest accomplishments was when she became a licensed pilot and owned her own plane.
Sherra supported the United Nations and its Goals and was a frequent attendee at the United Nations Special events in New York with her sister.
She was a staunch Christian warrior, who fought for those in need her entire life and was a breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by her sister Ratu Muda Princess Karen Cantrell, 2 sons- Seth Yaden Stephens and Tayler Edward Stephens.
