My father, Rev. Robert Richard Jr., who has recently passed away. What seemed like a routine rehab at the nursing home turned into a terrible case of neglect and abuse. Dad had MS and had one of his legs amputated which caused his body to rapidly decline from several deep painful bed sores. Unfortunately unbeknownst to his family his life insurance lapsed .
This loss has been incredibly painful for our family, and we are doing everything we can to honor his life with the dignity and love he deserves. My father was a strong, caring, and hardworking man who meant so much to so many people. He was the kind of person who showed up for others without hesitation, and now we are asking for that same support during one of the hardest times in our lives.
Unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses has been overwhelming. We are asking for help to cover costs such as the funeral service, burial, and related arrangements. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease this burden and allow us to focus on celebrating his life and grieving together as a family.
