Atwood was born in Leslie, GA to Reuben and Ellis Cannon. Being the youngest of four siblings on a farm and overcoming an early fight with polio, Atwood led an active, passionate, & purpose filled life. He graduated from Union High School active in church, sports, and with highest honors. …
