Repunzel and I were ticket agents with American Airlines in Pittsburgh. We had so many laughs together and I tried to locate her over the years to no avail but finally using Google AI, I was too late -I found this site that she had passed away. I am so terribly sorry -my deepest condolences to her family.

From the Ash and Dyer Family. My sincerest condolences to you Erik and your family. Your mother is one of the classiest women I had the pleasure of knowing. I grew up visiting my aunt "Rip". My mother Joanne Ash Dyer shared a lifelong friendship. I developed my own relationship as well spending time with her and your grandmother while in school at Spelman. I pray that you find peace in knowing she no longer suffers.

Repunzel would share nuggets of wisdom during our time together at Greater Mount Pleasant) (GMP)) . She and my mom formed a special bond and would talk often.
Sending prayers and condolences.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"
Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
Repunzel and I bonded and became close confidants. We would spend hours on the phone as she would share her wisdom and guidance. I always knew when something was wrong, it was as though her spirit would reach out to me. I was preparing to visit the very day that I found out that she had passed. Something was telling me to go visit; that spirit was reaching out, yet I did not make it. Oh, if only one more day. I was at a lost for words when I heard of her passing. My heart was heavy! I know that she is taking her rest, and her labor although done, was not in vain. I miss my friend and I pray that her family is able to find comfort in fond memories of good times shared!
Rest well my friend!

Repunzel and I met late in life when I was looking for a young person to spend time with my teenage granddaughter who was visiting with me for the summer. A mutual friend introduced us because Repunzel also had a visiting teenage granddaughter.
We met and became the best of friends cooking and sharing meals, exercising and going for walks, attending local events, her teaching me more about her favorite sport- football, checking in each morning and night talking about the Joy Reid show, and weathering out threatening storms and hurricanes together.
I accompanied her to her doctor appointments. It's difficult to accept that she's no longer with us.
What a blessing it was to have her in my life!
Rest well my friend! I will forever miss you 💜💜💜.

Family, Rapunzel was a dear friend! We shared many good times at Greater Mount Pleasant MB church in Tallahassee. We didn't talk often but we never missed a beat when we did. She asked me to speak at Mrs. Doris's funeral. When I told her myself & sisters were traveling to Cali she had us setup for free lunch at San Diego finest restaurant, the Coronado. I am sad and wished I could've had another time for us to see each other or talk. I just didn't know she was ill! I pray that God bring you comfort during this most difficult time.
