Renée's obituary

Grieving with hope and an unwavering faith, we announce that Renée Marie Schuett, 49 of Davisburg, MI was welcomed into the arms of her savior, Jesus. She passed peacefully on July 21, 2025, with her husband and her family at her side. Renée was a cherished wife, mom, sister, daughter and friend.
She leaves behind the love of her life and best friend, her devoted husband Brian and their sons, Nicholas, Austin, and Graham. Her steadfast commitment, support, wisdom and gentle guidance has shaped their lives. Renée’s legacy of kindness, empathy and compassion will endure in the lives of her family and the love they continue to share. Missing her deeply are both of her parents, Michael (the late Mary) Kaye and Esther (Kenneth) Salach, as well as the OG’s and the bonus siblings. They are Sheryl (Jeffrey) Kersten-Austreng, Michelle (Rick) Cray, Lindsay (Zachary) Diem, David (Amber) Kaye, and Marie (Adam) Istvan. She is also survived by 16 loving nieces and nephews and an abundance of sweet extended family.
Renée and her husband, Brian, have dedicated over 15 years to their family-owned business in Clarkston where they developed lasting and meaningful relationships with the community and local businesses, always fostering a spirit of trust and collaboration. She also valued her incredibly supportive work family who stepped up in the last 16 months to support Renée & Brian consistently.
Renée’s greatest joys in life, beyond the deep love she shared with her husband, Brian (affectionately known as “B”), their beloved children, and her faithful canine companion, Luna—were found in traveling the country and exploring the beauty of national parks. She often dreamed of one day settling in northern Michigan, on a quiet piece of land surrounded by nature’s peace. Renée found fulfillment in the simple, meaningful rhythms of life: tending her backyard garden, carefully canning its harvest so her family could enjoy the fruits of her labor throughout the winter months. She cherished time spent with those she loved, whether watching movies together, sharing laughter over a spirited game of euchre, or taking in a tranquil sunset by the lake. Above all, Renée took immense pride in creating a warm and welcoming home, where her children always knew they could return to the comfort of a home-cooked meal and a cozy bed.
To her friends and family, Renée was strength wrapped in grace, a light-hearted spirit whose laughter could lift any room, and a heart that gave endlessly and without hesitation. To her children, she was a steady, unwavering source of comfort and unconditional love. To her husband, she was his pillar of strength, his greatest supporter, always standing beside him with quiet confidence, encouraging his dreams and reassuring him with quiet confidence that they could achieve their goals. Even in life’s most difficult moments, she met challenges with resilience and hope, offering calm reassurance to those around her. Her enduring influence, rooted in compassion, strength, and love, will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
A Visitation will take place at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, on Monday July 28th from 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday July 29th at 12:30pm.
