Renee's obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Renee "Meme" Pozzi Tamburri, who left us on February 9, 2024. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 20, 1938, Renee, affectionately known as Meme, was an energetic, outgoing, fun-loving woman and a youthful spirit, who strived to live life to the fullest.
Renee was the beloved wife of Coco Tamburri and mother of María Fernanda and Maria Pia Tamburri. She was very close to Coco and they used to do everything together. After his passing, she will always talk about him with a lot of love. Her relentless spirit, strength, and affectionate nature will forever be cherished by those who were blessed to know her. Renee was a proud graduate of the Universidad De Buenos Aires in Argentina, where she pursued accounting and completed her degree in 1962.
Renee had an undying passion for Argentine cuisine, and her favorite dishes included Argentinian asado, empanadas, and picadita. She enjoyed pairing her meals with a glass of wine. Her never-ending enthusiasm for life was infectious, and she loved going out to eat, shopping, spending time at the gym, and taking cruises with the love of her life.
Renee had a deep appreciation for music. She used to sing to the tunes of Tango, which she knew by heart, played frequently in her home, creating an atmosphere of charm and vivacity. She was also an avid fan of la seleccion Argentina, and liked playing Canasta.
Renee's vitality, extroverted personality, and joy for life left an impact on everyone she met. She taught us the importance of staying true to oneself and the power of being strong-willed. She fought bravely through her life, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and authenticity.
The world will feel a little less bright without Renee, but her zest for life will continue to inspire us all to live our lives with passion and joy. To Renee, a woman who exemplified the phrase 'living life to the fullest,' we promise to keep your spirit alive in our hearts and actions.
