Our mother, Renée L. Malloy Oxton of Santa Barbara, burst through the gates of heaven on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Larger than life, Renée is now freed from the physical burdens of Stage IV Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Renée was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend who rose above the human-made boundaries of nationality, religion, and race.
