With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Renee "Nene" Livingstone, a beloved Mother, Sister, and daughter, who left us on July 16th, 2023. Born June 2nd, 1987, Renee was a bright soul known for her vibrant and caring personality. She was also fondly known as Nene, but she preferred being called Renee.

Renee was a remarkable individual, as characterized by her incredible zest for life. Captivated by the lure of adrenaline, she savored activities such as biking and skydiving. She also held a profound love for hiking and exploring the mountains, which were her favorite local spots. Her love for such recreational activities not only defined her as an individual but also painted a vivid picture of her adventurous spirit.

Equally important to her was her devotional time at St. Stephen the Martyr Church, where she spent significant moments contemplating life and its many mysteries. Professionally, Renee was a dedicated nurse. Her patients, whom she regarded as a cause she deeply cared about, remained at the forefront of her professional journey. She firmly believed in treating others as one wished to be treated – a principle she lived by and imparted onto her children. Her children will be adopted by her loving sister Marie and assisted with by her nephew

Among her notable accomplishments was graduating from nursing school, a testament to her enduring commitment to service and care. Her legacy, however, will be defined by her most cherished blessings, her children. Her son, Gabe Livingstone, her daughter, Richel Livingstone, along with her siblings, Josh Edwards, William Edwards, and Marie Respass, survive her. They will carry her memory in their hearts, ensuring her light continues to shimmer in this world.

A viewing was held for Renee on July 21st, 2023, at Bowie Church of Christ. A funeral service followed later that evening. The following day, a memorial service was held which segued into a reception later that evening. A burial was held for Renee at Beall Funeral Home, marking the physical end of her journey on Earth.

Remembering Renee, we are reminded of her vivacious spirit, her love for life, and her indomitable will to care for others. Her memory reminds us all to live our lives to the fullest, to embrace the power of kindness, and to cherish each moment as she did. She will be sincerely missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
