Rene's obituary
As you know my uncle Rene was born in San Gorgoino and raised in Beaumont all his life, he survives through his long time girlfriend Else, their beautiful children Erika Andrea Marissa and Javier. My amazing grandparents Alfredo and Maria. His strong backbone of siblings my mother Michelle, Alfredo (Fellin), Hector and Armando. And his first ever great niece, my daughter Arayli.
Many knew of his nickname given to him by his friends as Crazy. As for the family he was known as just our Rene. He loved sports and I can remember as a little girl back at the apartment on ninth he was always doing something athletic with his brothers. Whether it was playing football in the street or playing basketball in the little parking spot we had even sometimes playing football in the yard. He would always tell me be careful and when cars would come he would pick me up and put me back onto the grass and tell me "it's safer here". Rene has always been built like a brick wall, who's hugs were just as strong. He's stayed in shape by constant working out making sure he was in tip top shape 😏🥲 I will never forget his devilish smile or the way he laughed. He had an amazing smile and always had a habit of covering it up with the back of his hand. To the way he carried himself when he walked and the way he ran even the short distance from the house to the gate. He was always unique in every aspect of what he did. His love for his family was always so grand it was sometimes the feeling of smothering, but all in the details it was because he wore his heart on his sleeve. He would've rather face anything and everything before letting something happen to his family. Being only 13 years old apart, I always considered him more of a brother to me the way he watched out for me even as an adult. I always thought of him when times got tough.
For me, my uncle was always my version of a Tupac; why you may ask yourselves. It was more of the sense because he took on the responsibility to take care of us while getting himself into consequences that came after. He was our protector, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for family. He always spoke his mind and oldie songs were his peace; his way to escape the world. He was a spiritual soul, as you should know we grew up as Jehovah witnesses and for that Rene always stayed positive that God will see him through his darkest days. He battled his own demons that called him to the streets that tested his outlook on life and how he lived. But he always kept his faith that God is still watching over him no matter what because his heart is pure. I think I speak for my family when I say he is at peace, no more hurting, no more suffering.
I'm pleased to see that so many people came to pay their respects and say their farewells. It shows that he was very loved no matter the time apart and he will be missed very dearly. I don't want to say goodbye, I will say it's a see you later.
