Our condolences to Rene's family. Rene was our babysitter and family friend. When she was due to come and babysit, our children couldn't wait for us to leave. Her joy of life was one of her special qualities. She was so bubbly and loving all all of the time. She will certainly be missed. We loved Rene! The Newman and Barrow families.

She will be missed. I smile whenever I think about her. She always had a smile on her face or something funny to say. She touched my life with her kindness at Grace n Vessels services. 💜 I know she is with The Lord!

I was sadden to hear of Rene’s transition. I have fond memories of Rene many years ago, playing basketball with her, at an adult park’s league. She was very athletic and an awesome basketball player! She had a beautiful smile, sweet bubbling personality, that made you feel special. Rene introduced me to her mother’s delicious Tea cakes!
Life takes us in different directions, but fond memories of special people stay planted in our hearts. May the fond memories of Rene give each of you a smile to face tomorrow. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Ms. Rene Hopwood.🙏🏾
