Rene's obituary
René Bennett was born August 29, 1957 and passed away November 24, 2022. She will be missed by so many.
Our mother has been many things in her life. She has been a vet tech assistant, has owned 2 restaurants, managed hotels, and has reopened a library, just to name a few. Everything she has done, she has done with her whole mind and heart. The most important is that she was an amazing daughter to Richard and Mary Bennett. The youngest of her siblings, she was the sister to Richard “Eddie” Bennett and Robert Bennett, sister-in-law to Deb Bennett and Janine Bennett, a one-of-a-kind mother to Harley Smith, Mareese Bennett, and Kristin Cagle, mother-in-law to Matthew Cagle and a loving grammie to Chole Smith, Alexzander Matlock, and Shiloh Cagle.
We can say many wonderful things about our mother, but the best is her free spirit and love of nature. No matter who you are or where you came from, she never judged. She would just listen, love, and help any way she could. René touched the lives of so many people and I know she will never be forgotten and always remembered.
For all the loving hearts René left behind: "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain." We have to learn how to cope and dance in the rain until we're all together again.
And for our mom: Psalm 62: 1-2 I am at rest in God alone. My salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold. I will never be shaken.”
She always told me to hold my faith. I am ma till we're back together. You are truly loved and will forever be missed.
