Mr. Rembert "Pat" Reaves Jr, II, 61, of Oak Park, MI, passed away on May 22, 2022 

Pat was born on November 9, 1960 to Rembert and Deloris Reaves in Detroit, MI. After graduating from Cody High School, in 1979, he went on to study Airplane Mechanics at Wayne County Community College. 

After various jobs Pat started driving school buses for DPS, where  he meet the love of his life Cynthia and they wed in  1997. 

Pat was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Ed, Darius, and Mell, and Cynthia and always tried his best to support them.

 Pat was also a passionate truck driver and could often be found in his own simi-truck day inn and day out running local trips  when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Pat knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Pat was predeceased by his father Rembert Reaves Sr in 1998, and his aunt Alice Crawford. He is survived by his wife Cynthia, his 3 sons, Darius, Ed ( Trainea ), Jermell, his mother Deloris Reaves, his sister Shelia Reaves,  aunt Virginia Cooper and a host of grandchildren, relatives and great friends.
