Our 15 month old granddaughter, Reina Nicole Lynn Heston, passed away suddenly on April 14th, 2019. We, her maternal grandparents, have had custody of her since she was 6 months old. Her mother is an addict and didn't want to be a mother anymore. We are completely devastated. Our lives have been turned upside down. We haven't even begun to pick up the pieces of our lives. There's not a day that goes by that we do not miss her and do not feel the pain of her passing. We managed to get her funeral costs paid for. Now we are trying to finish paying off her headstone. This is a really painful time for us. We were with her 24/7. Our lives were devoted to taking care of her and raising her right. Reina's passing has torn our family apart in more ways than one. We will never fully recover from this tragedy.
The only thing we have left to take care of for her is her headstone. The headstone that we picked out cost $2,600 and we have managed to pay down most of that amount. The remaining balance on the headstone is $962. Today we are asking for help with this remaining balance. Getting her headstone paid for and placed at the cemetery will help us in our grieving process. So please any donation will help.
