I belated learned of Rein's passing.  We were classmates and good friends in the PhD program at Cornell University in the 1960s.  I spent many a pleasant evening with Rein and Mari.  My condolences to his family

Rein was an animal lover. He enjoyed a visit from Louie.  Resting together.

We are very sorry for Rein's pass. It was sudden and we didn't expect it. Sending our condolences  from Tia Maria Helena, Egon, Gisele,  André, Mariana, Sophia and  Matheus. We are very sad with the news we just heard today. Please kindly let us know if there is anything we can do for you. 😢🥺😢
