I met John and Esther through the Senior Connections Program in our neighborhood.  I was honored to drive them back and forth to the grocery store on a regular basis.  We always had a good time and even once went to lunch instead of the store.  I was so happy to develop a friendship with John and Esther and will miss him.  I was lucky to have visited them both shortly after Thanksgiving and we had a lovely visit.  John was quite talkative and we shared some Bailey's (Patricia OKd that) and cake.  It is a fond memory that I will cherish.  Please know that your whole family have been in my thoughts and prayers.  I am so sorry to miss the memorial service, due to an out-of-town wedding, but will be thinking about you and sending virtual hugs and prayers.
