Regina's obituary
Regina “Gina” Todd, 53, passed away on August 31, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on June 19, 1972, in Haines City, Florida, Gina brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning. Though she had made her home in Tennessee, she recently returned to her home state of Florida to care for her mother at the time of her passing.
Gina was a vibrant soul whose presence could brighten any room. Known for her quirky humor, sharp wit, and boundless generosity, she had a gift for making others feel seen and loved. Her authenticity and sarcasm were trademarks that endeared her to many—those who knew her will remember how she could lift spirits with just a glance or a well-timed joke.
Above all else, Gina cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Madison (Britton) Cornell and Emily Todd; her grandchildren Barrett Cornell and Meadow Cornell; her sister Angela (Eric) Graziano; her brother Donnie (Erica) Whatley. While she wore many hats throughout her life—sister, friend, mother, confidante—the title she held most dear was “Nana.” Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Gina’s pride in being their grandmother radiated through every story she told and every game of Uno she fiercely played.
A true Disney enthusiast, Gina found magic in every corner of the parks but held a special place in her heart for The Haunted Mansion. She often dreamed up elaborate Disney vacations, delighting in the planning as much as the fantasy itself. Her love for Disney reflected her playful spirit and sense of wonder. Whether cooking up something special in the kitchen or belting out lyrics from Salt-N-Pepa or Alice In Chains, Gina expressed love through action and presence. Cooking was another way Gina expressed her love—each dish a gesture of care and connection. Whether preparing meals for family or experimenting with new recipes just for fun, she poured herself into every bite. Her sense of humor was infectious; she could often be found watching old Saturday Night Live clips on YouTube, laughing out loud with genuine glee - a sound that those close to her will miss dearly.
She will leave a lasting memory at her career of the last 17 years, Star PT. She leaves behind deep friendships and lasting bonds with her Star PT family. She truly viewed everyone there as family.
Gina’s legacy is one of warmth, humor, loyalty, and selflessness. She gave freely of herself to those around her—always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear. Her absence leaves an ache that words cannot fill, but the memories she created will continue to bring comfort and smiles for years to come. A beautiful woman gone too soon but never forgotten.
May Regina “Gina” Todd’s memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on September 20, 2025, at 01:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church 9100 Crockett Rd Brentwood, TN. In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to Holy Family Church or donate to a charity close to your heart.
