Rebekah Beard, 52, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Augusta, GA. She was born on July 8, 1973, in Wrangell, AK to Bud Beard and Delores McCaslin.

Rebekah was a devoted follower of Christ. She had a way with children and animals. Her laughter, smile, and singing could brighten even the darkest of days. Rebekah was known as a true social butterfly, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, hiking, riding motorcycles, and any kind of traveling adventures. Additionally, she found pleasure in serving others and was often busy in the kitchen canning pickles and baking her world-famous pies.

Rebekah is survived by her husband, Jason Dahl; daughter, Shehalee (Smyer) Tialavea; son, Payton Smyer; daughters, Shyanne (Smyer) Baylash, and Savanna Smyer; step-son, David Dahl; ex-husband, Tim Smyer; father, Bud Beard; mother, Delores McCaslin; brothers, Richard Beard, Justin McCaslin, and Wade Beard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will host memorial services in Georgia and Washington State at later dates.
