Rebecca "Becky" Thompson-Slusser, affectionately known as Becky, sadly passed away on June 28, 2024. Born on January 19, 1961, her vibrant energy and caring spirit will be enduringly missed.

Rebecca was committed to her family and her love was reflected in her relationships with her children and grandchildren, who survive her. She leaves behind her daughters; Sarah Sims-Hedrick, and Joanna Bragg, and her sons; William Petree II and Michael Sims. She was an adoring grandmother to Jesus Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Dawsin Hedrick, Brooklyn Petree, Imma Hedrick, Scott Garcia, Zachary Bragg, Ella Hedrick, William (Liam) Petree III, and Michael Hedrick Jr.

A celebration of life for Rebecca will be held on July 29, 2024, at 12:30 AM at 39th Street Southwest, where family and friends will gather to share memories and pay their respects.

Rebecca was known for her love for any card games, notably Phase 10 and Skip-Bo. These moments brought her great joy, but none more than the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Rebecca's personality was best described as a go-getter, loving, and caring - a sentiment that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Rebecca imparted many life lessons, among them, the belief to be strong as there's always someone who depends on your strength. She considered her greatest achievements to be raising her children and experiencing the joy of her grandchildren.

Rebecca Thompson-Slusser's impact was immeasurable. Her spirit will continue to live on through her loved ones. Her loss is deeply felt, and she will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives were touched by her warmth and love.
