Becky's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rebecca (“Becky”) Ruth Richter, who left us far too soon on June 16, 2024. Rebecca Ruth Richter was born on December 14, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, as Rebecca Ruth Fiegenschue. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. Becky touched the hearts of many throughout her life, and her unwavering support and kindness will be deeply missed.
Becky was a loving wife to her husband, Dale Richter, with whom she shared 20 wonderful years. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Through their marriage, she gained a stepson, Cole Richter, whom she cared for deeply over the years.
As a mother, Becky was a source of love and guidance to her two daughters, Natalee Bales and Beverly Molock. She nurtured and supported them through many phases of their lives, instilling values of kindness, integrity, and determination. Her children were her pride and joy, and she took immense satisfaction in witnessing their achievements and happiness.
Becky (aka “Gammy”) was also a loving grandmother to her 5 grandsons, Carson (12), Cannon (12), Connor (7), Keaton (5), and Camden (3). She cherished every moment spent with them, and they always brought a smile to her face. They will always remember her as a caring grandmother who loved them very much.
In addition to her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, Becky was a cherished younger sister to her three siblings, Jim Fiegenschue, David Fiegenschue, and Mary Counts. She shared a unique and special bond with each of them, filled with childhood memories, laughter, and personal connection. The bond they shared was one of deep love and mutual respect, and her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in their lives.
Becky was also a dear friend to many, known for her warmth, compassion, and infectious smile. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued, loved, and supported. Her friends and community will forever remember her for her selfless spirit and the joy she brought to their lives.
Becky had a passion for travel, nature, music, art, friendship, and family gatherings. She was known for her dedication to her career, her family, her friends, and for helping others. She was a woman of beauty, grace, and love, leaving a long-lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Richter, her children, Natalee Bales and Beverly Molock, her stepson, Cole Richter, and her siblings, Jim Fiegenschue, David Fiegenschue, and Mary Counts. She was preceded in death by her father, James Fiegenschue and her mother, Tina Fiegenschue.
To honor her, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (Team Rebecca) in her honor. This reflects her dedication to supporting the search for a cure and bringing hope to others who may face this disease in the future. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their support, love, and prayers during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a great comfort.
Becky's memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. She lived a life filled with love, and her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Rest in peace, dear Rebecca Ruth. You will be deeply missed but never, ever forgotten.
